Lectionary Bible Study

We meet each week to sift through the scripture passages for the upcoming Sunday sermon. You will gain a deeper understanding of the Word, Lutheran theology and preach as Pastor Douglas teaches the class. This is a wonderful way to dive into the Scriptures before hearing the sermon.

  • Mondays @ 6 pm.
  • Starts November 30th.

Congregational Prayer Group

They Raised Their Voices Together in Prayer to God. (Acts 4:24)

Throughout the Book of Acts we read how amazing healings, conversions, rescues and testimonies happen for the Church. These miracles of THE Spirit happen because the people of Jesus relied upon prayer.

We are recruiting people to join together to ask the LORD to empower the ministry of St. John’s.

We are praying the Holy Spirit would move us to love Jesus Christ more dearly. We are praying to see the Holy Spirit working powerfully among us and through us to bring the Kingdom of God to others.
